NBA: New York 120, Washington 99

NEW YORK, April 9 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony pumped in 36 points Tuesday, boosting the New York Knicks to their 13th straight win and a division crown with a 120-99 rout of Washington.

Anthony also hauled down eight rebounds and distributed six assists, going 13-of-21 from the floor as the Knicks claimed their first Atlantic Division title since 1993-94.

Iman Shumpert shot 70 percent from the field en route to 18 points while Chris Copeland and J.R. Smith each came off the bench to add 17 as New York set a club record with 20 three-point baskets.

The Wizards got 33 points from John Wall but it wasn't enough to prevent their third setback in four games.

Cartier Martin also reached double figures with 16 points in a reserve role for Washington.
