NBA: Washington 98, LA Clippers 90

WASHINGTON, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Martell Webster connected on five 3-pointers en route to 21 points Monday and Washington kept the Los Angeles Clippers on the skids with a 98-90 win.

Garrett Temple and Nene added 15 points apiece for the Wizards, who broke a four-game losing streak with the triumph.

John Wall contributed 13 points and eight assists while Emeka Okafor added nine points with 14 rebounds for the victors.

The Clippers, who were playing without injured all-stars Blake Griffin (strained hamstring) and Chris Paul (knee), dropped their third straight.

Jamal Crawford netted 28 points and Eric Bledsoe supplied 17 and nine assists for Los Angeles.

DeAndre Jordan hauled down 22 rebounds in the defeat.
