NBA: Sacramento 131, Golden State 127

SACRAMENTO, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Consecutive 3-pointers down the stretch Wednesday by Aaron Brooks and Marcus Thornton propelled Sacramento to a 131-127 win over Golden State.

The Kings ended a five-game losing streak by downing a team that had won 10 of its last 12.

Golden State held a two-point lead with 3:01 to play, but the Kings went on a 9-1 run that was finished off by the long-range shots from Brooks and Thornton.

Thornton's 3-pointer came with 1:12 left and boosted Sacramento in front 125-119. The Kings did not clinch the game, however, until Jimmer Fredette hit four free throws over the final 12 seconds.

DeMarcus Cousins led Sacramento with 24 points, Brooks had 23 and Thornton scored 19. Jason Thompson added 10 points and 15 rebounds.

Stephen Curry, David Lee and Jarrett Jack combined to score 89 of Golden State's 127 points. Curry had 32, Lee contributed 29 and Jack grabbed seven rebounds to go with his 28 points.
