NBA: New York 110, Philadelphia 88

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith combined for 38 points Monday and New York Knicks finished a two-game sweep of Philadelphia with 110-88 win.

Anthony pumped in 21 points with seven rebounds while Smith contributed 17 and seven along with five assists for the Knicks, who also beat the 76ers 100-84 in New York Sunday.

The Knicks posted their first 3-0 start to a season since 1999-2000 with the help of Raymond Felton, who chipped in with 16 points and eight assists.

The Sixers fell again despite 17 points and eight assists from Jrue Holiday.

Thaddeus Young supplied 14 points and 10 boards in the loss.
