PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- John Mayberry Jr.'s RBI hit in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday boosted Philadelphia to a 3-2 win over Colorado in the first game of a doubleheader.
The Phils loaded the bases with two outs the ninth against Matt Belisle (3-6) and Mayberry floated a fly ball that Rockies left fielder Carlos Gonzalez couldn't corral despite making a diving try.

Jonathan Papelbon (5-6) tossed a scoreless top of the ninth to earn the victory.
