ANAHEIM, Calif., July 21 (UPI) -- Mark Napoli, Yorvit Torrealba and Adrian Beltre all homered during a big second inning Saturday that carried Texas to a 9-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
Ian Kinsler added an RBI double during the five-run frame and later chipped in a two-run clout for the Rangers, who evened their three-game series against their American League West rival.
Torrealba finished 3-for-5 as the Rangers banged out 15 hits en route to breaking a two-game skid.
Yu Darvish (11-6) struck out 11 over seven frames, yielding only three hits while overcoming four walks.
Angels starter Ervin Santana (4-10) was pounded for six runs on eight hits, lasting only 1 2/3 innings.
Mike Trout and Torii Hunter drove in runs for second-place Los Angeles, which fell six games behind Texas in the AL West.
