MLB: Seattle 8, Los Angeles Angels 6

ANAHEIM, Calif., June 7 (UPI) -- Kyle Seager drove in the winning run with a two-run sixth-inning single Wednesday and the Seattle Mariners beat the Los Angeles Angels 8-6.

Seager also double in two runs in the fifth for the Mariners, who took two out of three from LA at Angel Stadium. Michael Saunders had three hits and scored twice, Mike Carp drove in two runs and Ichiro Suzuki hit a solo home, drove in two runs and scored three times for Seattle.

Shawn Kelley (1-2) got the win in relief of Hector Noesi, who went four-plus innings for the Mariners, giving up six runs on four hits with five walks and one strikeout.

Tom Wilhelmsen allowed a two-out double to Albert Pujols in the ninth, and Pujols took third on a wild pitch but Wilhelmsen struck out Kendrys Morales to end the game and earn his second save of the year.

Angeles starter Jerome Williams (6-3) allowed seven runs -- five earned -- on nine hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Morales homered and finished with three RBI for the Angels, who have lost three of their last four.
