SAN FRANCISCO, May 30 (UPI) -- Buster Posey drove in the winning run Tuesday with a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning of the San Francisco Giants' 3-1 win over Arizona.
Posey, who had an RBI double earlier in the game, drove a sacrifice fly to right field that sent Melky Cabrera home to break a 1-1 tie and hand Clay Hensley (2-3) the victory in relief.
Cabrera went 3-for-4 and scored twice. He increased his hit total for May to 50, which tied Willie Mays' record for the most hits in May by a Giants player since the team relocated to San Francisco.
Joaquin Arias added an insurance run in the eighth on a fielder's choice with the bases loaded.
Bryan Shaw (1-3) took the loss for Arizona. Shaw allowed two runs on two hits in one inning of relief.
