Cubs' Clevenger off disabled list

CHICAGO, May 29 (UPI) -- The Chicago Cubs Tuesday activated catcher Steve Clevenger from the 15-day disabled list and sent catcher Blake Lalli to Triple-A Iowa.

Clevenger was placed on the DL on April 28 with a strained right oblique muscle. He was hitting .500 with five doubles and two RBI when he was injured.

Lalli appeared in six games for the Cubs hitting a light .133 with two RBI.
