MLS: Columbus 2, FC Dallas 1

COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 13 (UPI) -- Justin Meram and Sebastian Miranda each scored second-half goals Saturday and the Columbus Crew rallied past short-handed FC Dallas 2-1.

Columbus trailed 1-0 for most the contest, but Dallas went down a man in the 63rd minute when Zach Loyd received a second caution for a foul on substitute Meram, and the Crew (3-4-2) took advantage.

Meram collected the ball in the 67th minute and fired a rising shot into the net for the equalizer, which broke a 263-minute scoreless streak for the Crew.

Columbus took the lead 5 minutes later when Miranda connected on a header from 20 yards out.

Fabian Castillo's first goal of the season in the 22nd minute had handed an early lead to Dallas (3-6-3), whose winless streak stretched to six straight.
