COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 28 (UPI) -- Young-Pyo Lee scored in the 74th minute Saturday, lifting the Vancouver Whitecaps to their second straight win, 1-0 over Columbus.
Lee's score on a set-piece free kick went in just below the crossbar and was all the scoring the Whitecaps (4-2-2) would need in retaining their hold on third place in the Western Conference.

Vancouver used a tough defense the rest of the way to log its sixth shutout of the season.
Columbus (2-4-1) couldn't break through despite dominating much of the play in the first half.
