MLB: Pittsburgh 5, Houston 2

PITTSBURGH, May 12 (UPI) -- Charlie Morton held the Astros to one earned run over six innings and Andrew McCutchen went 4-for-4 Saturday in Pittsburgh's 5-2 win over Houston.

Morton (2-3) surrendered two runs (one earned) on seven hits and a single walk, placing 54 of his 88 pitches for strikes.

The right-hander broke a personal two-game losing streak for the Pirates, who evened their three-game home series against the Astros.

Chris Resop and Tony Watson teamed up for two scoreless frames and Juan Cruz collected his third save.

McCutchen smacked a solo homer among his four hits and Jose Tabata also went deep for Pittsburgh.

Houston's J.A. Happ (2-3) was tagged for five runs on six hits in five full innings.

Jordan Schafer and Justin Maxwell drove in the Astros' runs.
