NBA: Chicago 106, Milwaukee 104

MILWAUKEE, March 7 (UPI) -- Derrick Rose scored the last of his 30 points as time expired Wednesday, boosting Chicago to its eighth straight win with a 106-104 decision over Milwaukee.

The game was deadlocked heading into the fourth quarter and it remained tight throughout the closing 12 minutes.

Milwaukee's Ersan Ilyasova forged the last tie of the contest with 24 seconds when he grabbed an offensive rebound and scored on a layup.

Chicago worked the clock for the final shot, which turned out to be a fallaway jumper by Rose from inside the 3-point line.

The Bulls defeated the Bucks in all four of their meetings this year. Chicago has not lost since a home setback against New Jersey on Feb. 18.

Rose made only 8-of-22 from the field, but he hit all 14 of his attempts from the foul line and handed out 11 assists. Joakim Noah added 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Ilyasova was 14-of-18 from the field and led the Bucks with 32 points and 10 boards.
