NBA: Chicago 92, Indiana 72

CHICAGO, March 5 (UPI) -- Derrick Rose scored 10 of his 13 points in the third period Monday while Chicago was breaking the game open on its way to a 92-72 win over Indiana.

The division rivals had both won six straight times coming into the contest, but the Bulls demonstrated their superiority by improving the best record in the NBA 32-8. Chicago avenged one of only two home losses it has sustained this season, a 95-90 setback against the Pacers on Jan. 25.
