NBA: Boston 115, New York 111 (OT)

BOSTON, March 4 (UPI) -- Paul Pierce scored 34 points and hit a game-tying 3-pointer with 4 seconds left in regulation Sunday, helping Boston to a 115-111 overtime win over New York.

With Boston down by three points and time running out, Pierce pumped-faked and connected on a trey to forge a 103-103 tie, then Rajon Rondo completed a triple-double with five points in the extra frame for the Celtics.

Pierce went 13-of-23 from the field with seven rebounds, three assists, a pair of steals and a blocked shot for Boston, which logged its fourth straight victory.

Rondo added 18 points, 17 rebounds and 20 assists, while Kevin Garnett contributed 18 points and 10 boards.

The Celtics also got 18 points from Brandon Bass in the victory.

Carmelo Anthony supplied 25 points and seven rebounds while Amare Stoudemire added 16 and 13 for New York.

Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin was held to 14 points on 6-of-16 shooting from the field.
