A tip-in by Josh Smith brought the Hawks within two with 11 seconds to go, but Monta Ellis then hit a pair of foul shots with 10 seconds left that all but clinched the game.

Ellis led the Warriors with 24 points and Lee scored 22 points to go with 12 rebounds.

Atlanta's Joe Johnson returned after missing two games with tendinitis in his left knee and scored 18 points. The Hawks have lost six out of eight.
