NBA: Golden State 104, LA Clippers 97

OAKLAND, Calif., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Monta Ellis scored 32 points and the Golden State Warriors heated up down the stretch Monday, racing past the Los Angeles Clippers 104-97.

Brandon Rush sparked a game-ending 9-0 run with a 3-pointer that handed Golden State a 98-97 lead.

David Lee finished with 24 points and 13 rebounds for the Warriors, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Ekpe Udoh had 19 points and eight rebounds before going exiting with a knee injury late in the game.

Chris Paul scored 24 points for the Clippers but missed a shot and had another blocked during Golden State's decisive run.

Blake Griffin finished with 21 points and nine rebounds for LA.
