LOS ANGELES, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Pau Gasol scored 20 points Tuesday to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to an 86-78 win over Atlanta.
Kobe Bryant and Metta World Peace each scored 10 -- with Bryant shooting 5-of-18 from the field and missing his three tries from 3-point range.

Gasol was 9-of-22 for the Lakers, who shot 44 percent from the field to Atlanta's 34.4 percent.
Joe Johnson and Josh Smith both scored 15 for Atlanta. Jeff Teague had 14 points.
Los Angeles led 42-41 at halftime, but outscored the Hawks 17-10 in the third quarter and stayed in control the rest of the way.
