NHL: Boston 4, Nashville 3 (SO)

BOSTON, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Tyler Seguin and Patrice Bergeron scored in a shootout Saturday, handing the Boston Bruins a 4-3 decision over Nashville.

Seguin tallied in the tie-breaker's first round, freezing Predators goalie Pekka Rinne with a quick series of moves and sliding the puck past him.

After Boston netminder Tim Thomas made a stop on Martin Erat, Bergeron iced the victory in the next round when his shot went between Rinne's pads and into the Nashville net.

He, Daniel Paille and Milan Lucic each netted regulation goals. Lucic's game-tying score came with only 67 seconds remaining in the third period.

Thomas ended with 19 saves to earn the victory for Boston.

Mike Fisher, Shea Weber and Patric Hornqvist found the net for the Predators, who fell to 1-2-2 in their last five games.
