NBA: Utah 96, Los Angeles Lakers 87

SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap combined for 34 points Saturday and the Utah Jazz used a strong fourth quarter to overcome the Los Angeles Lakers 96-87.

Jefferson finished with 18 points, Millsap added 16 and each them hauled down 13 rebounds.

Derrick Favors and Josh Howard each added 12 points, and Enes Kanter had 10 as the Jazz went on a 14-0 run in the late going and snapped a two-game skid.

The Lakers went down to defeat despite 26 points from Kobe Bryant, 24 from Pau Gasol and 21 from Andrew Bynum. Gasol also grabbed 16 rebounds and Bynum pulled down 12.
