SACRAMENTO, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Jason Richardson, who scored 22 points Sunday, triggered a late 13-4 run that carried the Orlando Magic to a 104-97 win over Sacramento.
Richardson's trey put the Magic ahead for good at 90-87 with 5 1/2 minutes remaining, and after John Salmons answered with a layup, Orlando's Hedo Turkoglu connected on another 3-pointer with 3:18 left.

Dwight Howard hit a pair of free throws and Ryan Anderson (19 points, 11 rebounds) added a trey as the Magic completed their decisive run and logged a win in the first contest of a four-game road trip.
Glen Davis added 20 points and eight rebounds off the bench for the Magic.
Tyreke Evans put in a game-high 28 points and handed off eight assists in the Kings' loss.
