CHICAGO, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- The Chicago Bears placed quarterback Jay Cutler and running back Matt Forte on the injured reserve list and neither will play in the Vikings game Sunday.

Cutler finished the season completing 182-of-314 passes for 2,319 yards and 13 touchdowns with seven interceptions. His 85.7 passer rating was the best in Bears team history, but a fractured thumb ended his season in late November.
