Donaldson grabs lead at European Masters

CRANS MONTANA, Switzerland, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Jamie Donaldson birdied four of the final six holes at Crans-sur-Sierre Saturday to take a one-shot lead after three rounds of the European Masters.

Donaldson turned in a six-under 65 Saturday to go 14-under 199 for the tournament and set up a final round race with Lee Westwood in Sunday's finale.

Westwood collected seven birdies Saturday en route to a 64. Westwood has won 12 European Tour tournaments while trailing after three rounds.

Rory McIlroy made a charge Saturday but bogeyed two holes on the back nine to finish with a 67 and sole possession of third place at 201.
