MILWAUKEE, June 26 (UPI) -- Ryan Braun smacked a tie-breaking homer Sunday and the Milwaukee Brewers downed Minnesota 6-2, completing a three-game interleague sweep.
After Nyjer Morgan forged a 1-1 tie with a two-out RBI single in the fifth, Braun followed by lining an 0-1 pitch from Twins starter Carl Pavano (5-6) over the left-center field wall for a go-ahead, two-run shot, extending his hitting streak to 17 games.
Yuniesky Betancourt went 3-for-4, Jonathan Lucroy added an RBI double and pitcher Chris Narveson also chipped in with a run-scoring two-bagger for the first-place Brewers, who improved to a major league-best 29-11 at home.
Narveson (5-5) held the Twins to two runs on five hits over 6 2/3 innings, walking two while striking out seven.
Pavano lasted six innings, yielding five runs on eight hits for the Twins, who dropped their seventh straight against the Brewers and fifth straight overall.
Jason Repko and Jim Thome drove in Minnesota's runs.
