LOS ANGELES, June 18 (UPI) -- Clint Barmes delivered a two-run double in the midst of a five-run sixth inning Friday that led Houston to a 7-3 interleague win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Houston took a 7-1 lead into the ninth while snapping a three-game losing streak. The Dodgers have lost four in a row.
Brett Myers (3-6) went the distance for the Astros, turning in his 11th complete game in a 10-year career. He was allowed to stay in despite giving up a two-run homer in the ninth to Andre Ethier.
The Astros broke open a 1-1 game by batting around in the sixth, during which Los Angeles starter Ted Lilly (5-6) could retire only one batter.
Jeff Keppinger led off the inning with a double and scored on a one-out single by Carlos Lee. Chris Johnson then singled and Brett Wallace drew a walk to load the bases and Barmes came through with a double that scored Lee and Johnson.
Carlos Corporan was walked intentionally to again load the bases and Jason Bourgeois singled home the final two runs of the inning.
