BALTIMORE, June 12 (UPI) -- Evan Longoria hit a two-run, inside-the-park homer Sunday, highlighting a 14-hit Tampa Bay attack that gave the Rays a 9-6 win over Baltimore.
The Orioles had pulled to within 7-5 in the eighth when Ben Zobrist singled and one out later Jeremy Accardo came on to pitch to Longoria.
The Tampa Bay third baseman smacked a 1-2 pitch into center field that eluded an onrushing Adam Jones and rolled behind him all the way to the wall as Longoria circled the bases.
Longoria also drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in a three-run first inning while Johnny Damon socked a solo homer and added an RBI single as Tampa Bay claimed the rubber match of a three-game set at Camden Yards.
Wade Davis (5-5) earned the win despite allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits over six innings.
O's starter Brian Matusz (1-1) lasted only 1 1/3 innings, surrendering four runs on five hits and handing out four walks.
Jones, Vladimir Guerrero and Luke Scott all homered in Baltimore's loss.
