MLB: San Francisco 4, Cincinnati 2

SAN FRANCISCO, June 12 (UPI) -- Aubrey Huff went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs Sunday, helping the San Francisco Giants best Cincinnati 4-2.

The Giants spotted Cincinnati an early 2-0 lead but Huff's RBI double in the fourth cut San Francisco's deficit to one.

After the Giants tied it on Cody Ross' RBI groundout in the sixth, San Francisco loaded the bases with two outs in the next frame against Jose Arredondo (0-2).

Nate Schierholtz then drove in the go-ahead tally with a sacrifice fly and Huff followed with a run-scoring single for some insurance.

Ramon Ramirez (2-0) was credited with the victory thanks to a scoreless seventh. Brian Wilson racked up his 18th save as the first-place Giants split a four-game series Cincinnati.

Reds starter Edinson Volquez held San Francisco to two runs on five hits over six innings.

Scott Rolen and Edgar Renteria drove in Cincinnati's runs.
