ARLINGTON, Texas, June 7 (UPI) -- Austin Jackson collected three RBI and Rick Porcello held Texas to one run over six innings Tuesday in the Detroit Tigers' 8-1 win over the Rangers.
Jackson notched a two-run single in fourth, when the Tigers pushed four runs across, and added another RBI in the ninth as Detroit pounded out 20 hits and clinched their three-game series against the Rangers.
Ryan Raburn drove in two runs while Casper Wells, Victor Martinez and Alex Avila each collected three hits in Detroit's offensive onslaught.
Porcello (6-3) won for the fifth time in six starts, limiting the Rangers to six hits while issuing only one walk and striking out two.
Texas starter Matt Harrison (5-5) surrendered four runs (three earned) on eight hits through four innings.
David Murphy went 3-for-4 for Texas.
