ANAHEIM, Calif., May 22 (UPI) -- Tyler Chatwood threw seven solid innings and Torii Hunter belted a go-ahead homer Sunday in the Los Angeles Angels' 4-1 inter-league win over Atlanta.
Chatwood (3-2) yielded only one run on five hits and two walks. He fanned six in notching his first victory since April 26.
Scott Downs posted a scoreless eighth inning and Jordan Walden collected his eighth save for the Angels, who took the rubber match of a three-game set against the Braves.
Hunter's fourth-inning blast scored Bobby Abreu ahead of him and wiped out a 1-0 Atlanta lead.
Abreu added an RBI double in the seventh and Alexi Amarista contributed a run batted in for Los Angeles.
Atlanta's Derek Lowe (3-4) was tagged with his first loss in more than a month. He allowed three runs on five hits in a six-inning start.
Joe Mather got the Braves' only RBI.
