MLS: FC Dallas 2, Los Angeles 1

FRISCO, Texas, May 1 (UPI) -- Brek Shea scored in the 88th minute Sunday, handing FC Dallas a 2-1 win over Los Angeles in a rain-soaked rematch of last year's Western Conference final.

Shea curled shot from the left corner of the penalty area 5 minutes after the game resumed following an hour-long delay due to dangerous lightning.

Fabian Castillo broke a scoreless tie for Dallas (3-3-1) in the 47th minute, booting a loose ball inside the far post off a header by Andrew Jacobson.

The Galaxy (4-2-3) answered quickly when Landon Donovan scored 4 minutes later, converted a cross from Juninho.

Dallas, which defeated Los Angeles in last year's Western Conference finals and then went on to lose to Colorado in the 2010 MLS Cup, posted its third win in four games.

The Galaxy, meanwhile, saw their five-game unbeaten streak snapped.
