NBA: Chicago 116, Indiana 89

CHICAGO, April 27 (UPI) -- Derrick Rose pumped in 25 points Tuesday and the Chicago Bulls won their first-round playoff series 4-1 with a 116-89 victory over Indiana.

Rose finished 8-of-17 from the floor with a trio of 3-pointers and Luol Deng contributed 24 points, seven assists and six rebounds for the Bulls, who cruised into the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Joakim Noah chipped in with 14 points and eight rebounds and Keith Bogans connected for five treys en route to 15 points, partially making up for a subpar night from star forward Carlos Boozer, who scored only two points.

The Bulls next play the winner of the Atlanta-Orlando quarterfinal series, which Atlanta leads 3-games-to-2.

The Pacers were led by Danny Granger with 20 points while Tyler Hansbrough added 14 points and 11 rebounds.
