CHESTER, Pa., April 9 (UPI) -- Roger Torres, entering late in the match as a substitute for Carlos Ruiz, scored the only goal Saturday in Philadelphia's 1-0 win over Red Bull New York.
Torres scored in the 68th minute after taking a pass from Danny Mwanga inside the penalty area. Mwanga had gained control of the ball on defender Tim Ream's failed clearance.

New York striker Juan Agudelo had two shots carom off a goal post and the crossbar in the first half.
The victory pushed the Union to a 3-1-0 mark, while Red Bull fell to 1-1-2.
