NBA: Washington 107, Detroit 105

WASHINGTON, April 5 (UPI) -- John Wall poured in 26 points Tuesday and the Washington Wizards snapped an eight-game losing streak to Detroit, handing the Pistons a 107-105 setback.

Wall, who put the Wizards ahead with a dunk in the final minute, ended with 12 assists and six rebounds.

The victory was the fourth in five games overall for Washington.

Greg Monroe provided 22 points and 14 rebounds for the Pistons but misfired on two free-throw attempts with 10.2 seconds left in the game.

Austin Daye was off the mark on a 3-point attempt as time ran out and Detroit absorbed its fourth straight loss.
