NBA: Memphis 111, San Antonio 104

MEMPHIS, March 27 (UPI) -- Zach Randolph connected for 23 points Sunday and the Memphis Grizzlies downed San Antonio 111-104, handing the Spurs their third straight loss.

Randolph also grabbed 11 rebounds. Tony Allen added 23 points and O.J. Mayo provided 17 for the Grizzlies, who lengthened their lead for the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot to 2 1/2 games with the win.

Mayo drained four 3-pointers and Mike Conley put in 12 points for Memphis.

The Spurs, meanwhile, lost a third straight game for the first time this season despite getting 30 points from George Hill.

Tony Parker contributed 20 points and six assists for San Antonio.

The Spurs, who hold a 4 1/2-game lead atop the West, lost Manu Ginobili to a bruised thigh in the in the third quarter.
