Rose scored 24 points and gave Chicago a five-point lead by completing a 3-point play with 10.8 seconds to go.

After O.J. Mayo hit a 3-pointer for Memphis, Rose was fouled. He had a chance to clinch the game at the free throw line, but he could make only 1-of-2, giving Memphis a chance to tie it.

That attempt from Mike Conley failed to go and the Bulls won their third straight and their 11th out of 12.

Luol Deng added 23 points for Chicago and Carlos Boozer had 12.

Memphis, which had won its previous three games, got 16 points from Zach Randolph. The Grizzlies currently hold down the eighth playoff spot in the Western Conference.
