Florida made 14-of-17 shots from the field in the second half to wipe out a five-point deficit at intermission.

The Gators -- who defeated the Volunteers in all of their three meetings this season -- shot 58 percent from the field for the game and got 17 points from Erving Walker. Vernon Macklin added 15 for Florida (25-6).

Tennessee (19-14) dropped seven of its final 11 games to end a wild year that saw Coach Bruce Pearl suspended for the start of conference play.

The Volunteers were led by 25 points from Tobias Harris.

Florida has won nine of its last 10 contests.
