Soderling, Cilic advance to Open 13 finals

MARSEILLE, France, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Robin Soderling of Sweden downed Russian Dmitry Tursunov Saturday to round out the finals of the Open 13 tennis tournament in Marseille, France.

The top-seeded Soderling scored 11 aces and dispatched Tursunov 7-5, 6-1 to advance to Sunday's championship match against Martin Cilic of Croatia.

Soderling, a two-time runner up at the French Open, never faced a break point and wrapped up the match in 75 minutes.

Cilic rallied from 0-4 in the first set to oust Mikhail Youzhnv 6-2, 1-6, 7-5.

Cilic and Soderling met at last year's French Open. Soderling won in straight sets.
