NASHVILLE, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Patrick Marleau's goal 3:53 into overtime Tuesday handed the San Jose Sharks a 2-1 victory over Nashville.

Marleau came in on a clean breakaway after collecting a pass from Kent Huskins at center ice, launching a low forehand shot to the stick side of Pekka Rinne that eluded the Preds' netminder for the game-winner.
