SANTIAGO, Chile, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Tommy Robredo had to go to three sets Sunday but pulled out a 6-2, 2-6, 7-6 (7-5) victory over Santiago Giraldo for the title of the Movistar Open.
Robredo, seeded sixth, rallied from a 5-4 deficit in the third set, holding serve and eventually notching his 10th career championship in the 2011 season's first clay-court event.

The Spaniard earned $68,850 for the victory.
The eighth-seeded Giraldo, meanwhile, fell short in his bid for a first ATP championship.
