COL BKB: Ohio State 82, Minnesota 69

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- David Lighty netted 19 points, leading five starters scoring in double figures Sunday in top-ranked Ohio State's 82-69 victory over Minnesota.

Jared Sullinger added 18 points and 13 rebounds and William Buford chipped in with 15 points for the Buckeyes (24-0, 11-0 Big Ten), who remained the nation's lone unbeaten team with their latest victory.

Jon Diebler and Dallas Lauderdale added 10 points each as Ohio State never trailed after spotting Minnesota a 2-0 lead.

Blake Hoffarber went 4-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 16 points for the Golden Gophers (16-7, 5-6), who dropped a season-high third straight game.

Ralph Sampson III and Chip Armelin each contributed 14 points in the setback.
