NBA: LA Lakers 101, Oklahoma City 94

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol combined for 42 points Monday to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 101-94 win over Oklahoma City.

Bryant finished with 21 points, seven assists and five rebounds and Gasol had 21 points and seven rebounds for the Lakers, who snapped back from a loss Sunday to the LA Clippers to win for the eighth time in their last nine games. Lamar Odom scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Derek Fisher scored 15 for the Lakers.

Russell Westbrook led the Thunder with 32 points and 12 assists. Kevin Durant scored 24 on 8-of-24 shooting.

Oklahoma City, which went 2-for-22 from beyond the arc, lost its eighth straight against the Lakers and had a four-game winning streak broken.
