OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant finished a huge game by making a pair of free throws with 2 seconds remaining Thursday that gave Oklahoma City a 125-124 win over Orlando.
Russell Westbrook had a triple double in boosting the Thunder to their fourth straight win. Durant's foul shots put the Thunder in front by four, giving them enough cushion to survive a 3-pointer by Orlando's Jason Richardson at the buzzer.
After winning nine straight games, Orlando has lost two in a row. The Magic's streak came to an end Wednesday in New Orleans.
Durant made 13-of-17 shots from the field and 8-of-9 from the line to score 36 points. Westbrook had 32 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. He also blocked two shots and had a steal while committing just one foul.
Oklahoma City held on after taking a 10-point lead into the fourth quarter. The Thunder shot 56 percent from the field.
Orlando was led by 39 points from Dwight Howard, who made 17-of-20 foul shots. Richardson contributed 19 points.
