NHL: Dallas 6, Atlanta 1

DALLAS, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- James Neal and Trevor Daley each scored a pair of goals for Dallas Saturday and the Stars cruised to a 6-1 rout of Atlanta.

Adam Burish and Jeff Woywitka also scored to back goalie Kari Lehtonen, who turned aside 29-of-30 shots while facing his former team for the first time since being dealt from the Thrashers to Dallas last season.

Jamie Benn, Mike Ribeiro, Brad Richards and Stephane Robidas each had two assists as the Stars raised their all-time record against Atlanta to 11-1-1.

Andrew Ladd got the only tally for Atlanta.

Chris Mason started the game in net and made three saves before being removed with a lower-body injury. Ondrej Pavelec entered and was torched for all six goals on 24 shots.
