NBA: Phoenix 118, New Jersey 109 (OT)

PHOENIX, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Steve Nash scored 10 of his 23 points in overtime Wednesday, completing a Phoenix rally that brought the Suns a 118-109 win over New Jersey.

Phoenix trailed by as many as 15 points early in the fourth quarter before rallying to take a two-point lead in the final 30 seconds. New Jersey's Kris Humphries scored on a dunk with 16 seconds left in regulation to force the extra period.

Nash then hit eight foul shots in overtime. He contributed 16 assists overall in Phoenix's third win in 11 outings.

Vince Carter scored 23 points and his layup off an offensive rebound with 1:57 left in overtime gave the Suns a five-point lead. Nash then began his parade to the free throw line to clinch it.

New Jersey was led by 19 points from Sasha Vujacic. The Nets, who began a four-game road trip, have lost eight out of nine.
