NBA: Orlando 104, New Jersey 88

NEWARK, N.J., Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Hedo Turkoglu scored 20 points and Dwight Howard added 19 Monday in the Orlando Magic's 104-88 decision over New Jersey in snowbound Newark.

Turkoglu grabbed seven rebounds and distributed five assists and Howard hauled down 14 rebounds and blocked six shots for the Magic, who fought their way through a snowstorm to pick up their third straight win.

Orlando's team bus was delayed by a massive East Coast blizzard after it became stuck in a snow bank on the way to Prudential Arena.

Turkoglu's long 3-pointer midway through the third quarter put Orlando up for good at 58-57.

Jason Richardson answered a Sasha Vujacic trey with one his own and followed up with another basket with 3:17 to go in the frame, extending the Magic's lead to eight points at 70-62.

J.J. Redick popped in 15 points off the bench and Richardson ended with 14 for Orlando.

Devin Harris struck for 24 points and Brook Lopez added 20 for New Jersey.
