Atlanta pulled to within four points at 90-86 with 1:17 left thanks to Joe Johnson's jumper and subsequent 3-pointer. But an earlier 5-minute scoring drought had left the Hawks in too big of a hole.

Paul then connected on a fadeaway jumper with 38 seconds left to seal the Hornets' win.

Johnson collected 23 points and Marvin Williams added 18 for the Hawks, who dropped their fifth straight road game.
