NBA: Minnesota 98, Cleveland 97

CLEVELAND, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Michael Beasley's driving layup with 5 seconds remaining Sunday boosted the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 98-97 decision over Cleveland.

Beasley ended with 28 points and Luke Ridnour chipped in 23 points and six assists for Minnesota, which notched just its second road win of the season.

Kevin Love contributed 16 points and dominated the glass with 18 rebounds for the Wolves.

The reeling Cavaliers, meanwhile, lost for the 13th time in 14 games.

Antawn Jamison missed a potential game-winning, 9-foot jumper as time expired. He ended with 24 points. Anthony Parker added 21 points and seven assists.
