NBA: Portland 101, Phoenix 94

PHOENIX, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Brandon Roy scored 26 points Friday and the Portland Trail Blazers took advantage of a big game at the foul line to defeat Phoenix 101-94.

The Trail Blazers have won four in a row to climb a game above .500. Phoenix has lost three straight and is 6-5 for the season at home.

Portland opened a 15-point lead early in the fourth period and maintained its advantage thanks to continuous trips to the charity stripe. The Trail Blazers were 26-of-32 from the line and Andre Miller was perfect in his eight attempts.

LaMarcus Aldridge contributed 23 points for the Blazers while both Marcus Camby and Wes Matthews had 16. Camby also had 18 rebounds, one off his season high.

Phoenix was led by Steve Nash with 24 points and Grant Hill with 17.
