NHL: Boston 4, Florida 0

BOSTON, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Milan Lucic scored Boston's first three goals Thursday and Tuukka Rask recorded a shutout in bringing the Bruins a 4-0 win over Florida.

It was the second career hat trick for Lucic, who has 10 goals this season and has at least one point in 14 of the 17 games Boston has played.

Lucic opened the scoring with 4:23 to go in the first period and then produced goals 15 seconds apart late in the third. Nathan Horton assisted on all three goals.

Shawn Thornton delivered the final Boston tally with 3:54 remaining. The Bruins won their third straight.

Rash picked up his first shutout of the season while stopping 41 shots. He has seven shutouts in a four-year career, all of it spent with the Bruins.

Tomas Vokoun allowed four goals on 40 shots in what was the second Florida loss in three games.
