COL FB: South Carolina 36, Florida 14

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Marcus Lattimore piled up 212 rushing yards and scored three times Saturday in No. 22 South Carolina's 36-14 win over No. 24 Florida.

Lattimore had 40 carries and Stephen Garcia completed 15-of-22 passes for 156 yards for the Gamecocks (7-3, 5-3 SEC), who wrapped up the school's first-ever trip to the SEC championship game.

Garcia gained 28 yards on 12 rushes, scoring a running touchdown in the win, which enabled the Gamecocks to clinch the SEC Eastern Division championship.

They will now go on to face SEC West-winning Auburn in the Dec. 4 conference title game.

The Gators (6-4, 4-4) were led by John Brantley, who completed 16-of-31 passes for 130 yards and an interception.

Florida had won three out of the last four SEC East titles.
